Feed, by Mira Grant

I just finished reading a new novel called Feed, by Mira Grant. This is a new pen name of Seanan McGuire’s (October Daye books), and this is her third published book. Not sure why she needed a pen name because this was a great book. It is the year 2039 and it’s politics as usual except bloggers are the main source of news. Twenty years before, cancer and the common cold had been cured, but someone released an immature form of the cure to the world, and guess what – it created zombies. Zombies that have only one need – to feed. A blogger named Georgia and her brother follow a presidential candidate on his campaign across the zombie-strewn America. Lots of action and lots of thought-provoking verse – would you kill a friend you knew that was infected? It has received great reviews and I’m hoping for more from this author’s new pen name.
