Humans vs. Zombies Player Hit by Car

A student involved in the popular campus game Humans vs. Zombies at the University of Iowa was hit by a car on Tuesday, prompting the organizers to halt the game for one week.  A UI spokesman had this response, which seems like a strange one:

UI does not know whether the participant was injured, Moore said. Moore said the university is not and does not plan to investigate the incident and is not concerned about “Humans versus Zombies” being held as a campus activity.

“It’s a game of tag, and we don’t see that as being inherently more dangerous than any other activity,” Moore said.

No word on the condition of the student, and the Facebook page for the event has no mention either.
