A small zombie apocalypse had to be dealt with in Center City, Pennsylvania on Monday. There was a disaster and responders were sent to the morgue to look at and identify bodies, and as they looked and opened the body bags, the zombies came to life, springing out of the bags, moaning for “Brains…brains!”
OK, so it was just practice – part of a clinical simulation for training new health care workers put on by Drexel University. The workers had to attend to casualties while fending off the attacking zombies. The simulation is a week-long event that starts with the scenario of mass casualties, and this year they decided that the scenario was a zombie apocalypse. Pretty cool. Carolyn Beeler of Newsworks posted the story.
